Idigbo

Native to West Africa, idigbo is a light yellow-brown hardwood with a variable grain that can be straight, reasonably irregular or interlocking. It is most of the time chosen as a cheap substitute to oak, and will also be stained, varnished or painted. Despite the fact that idigbo will not be fairly as long lasting as oak, it presents a just right stage of force with little shrinkage, and can be formed to produce appealing curved stair components.
